I wanna get my Open diff welded. Anyone know a good place that welds diffs on a regular? i can weld but id rather someone that does this for a profession do it.

yea get professional to do it
just take your diff out, crack it open and bring it to a local reputable mechanic shop and tell them to weld the 4 spyder gears together, might be helpful to bring them a pic of the inside of a welded diff for them
I just realized IFO will be 13 FEB. Thats my first weekend home. I don't think I'll have time to get my headlight mods done by then but I might enter the car show anyway. I wish I could afford some new seats.

Cool. you should def enter that beast. Is it at state capital again? ill go and enter... might as well since ill be there. i may go and buy some slip on spacers before the show though. i only want like 5-7mm all around.

Ya thats what id do but i dont wanna bring it to a place that "can" do it... hell, i can. i want a place that has done plenty before because this is my only diff. i want a spare open/lsd diff but can come across a decent priced one. so i cant afford any bad welds right now lol

hey man its already painted and on the car. i wont be there thursday but u can see it at the z meet on saturday. i think the cf would look good with ur cf front lip bar thingy haha
