As is. A wild random guy offered me $8500 out the blue. It was super effective.

Anyone have experience selling their car on to a private party?
I'm wondering what is involved in the process. (ie receiving payment, paying off loan, receiving title, transfering title...) any info would be greatly appreciated

I've sold a few cars. What do you want to know?
Dude showed up at my house, test drove the car, liked it, we went to notary, he handed me monies, we signed, shook hands, he drove me home, he left, we were done.

depends if you have the title or not. But it's pretty simple. Just make sure you get a cashiers check.

Yea I don't hold the title. I guess I will have to accept payment, pay the bank what's left on my loan, collect title, transfer title.
