NorCal Regional Marketplace Rules

As of lately I have seen users double posting items here and in the Global Marketplace. In addition, some of you still have a bad habit of posting multiple threads for items when they should be combined into one thread.

Here is a list of Regional Marketplace Rules to better help you avoid getting your threads deleted or worse, get an Infraction.

1. If you are posting something for LOCAL SALE ONLY (meaning that you are NOT Willing to SHIP the item(s) via USPS, FedEx, UPS, DHL, etc.), then post it here in the Regional ONLY and not in the Global Marketplace. Marketplace rules still apply in that you must post a price, you may not "take offers" (i.e. this is not an auction site), and you may only bump once a day. We still encourage that you post a picture of your item, but it is not required in this section.

2. If you are willing to ship the item, you MAY NOT post the item here. Post it in the Marketplace. If you double post the item here and the marketplace, it will be deleted from the region. You may post a link to a marketplace "For Sale" thread ONE TIME in the region. Your "link thread" may be locked by the staff to prevent activity in multiple threads for the same item. Don't take it personally.

3. If you have multiple items to sell, post them all in the same thread.
Multiple For Sale threads created by the same seller will be merged.

4. FOR CAR SALES..
Seller MUST POST: Year, MODEL LEVEL (BASE/ENTHUSIAST/ETC.), TRANSMISSION TYPE (MT/AUTO), MILEAGE, COLOR, LOCATION in Thread
TITLE.

In the Body of the Thread, Seller must also include: SELLER NAME, CONTACT INFORMATION (Phone/EMAIL), and VIN NUMBER of VEHICLE being sold.

5. Local WTB, please use the designated Sticky Thread to ask for WTB items. That thread is not for discussion. Simply post what you are looking for and communicate via Private Message. All post asking for WTB items will be purged out at staff’s discretion. Once purged, you are more than welcome to post your request again.
