Howdy and welcome! Most of the Michigan gatherings are less than an hour from you. Keep an eye on those threads.

The Jawbreaker Road Rally is going on this weekend in Cincinnati. They have opened it up this year as free admission. Cover your own food, hotel and drinks. It starts from downtown Cincinnati on Saturday morning in an undisclosed location. PM me if you're interested.

The saturday run starts around 11am and goes all day. See JawbreakerRoadRally.com for videos on last year's event and promo video for this year.

Normal entry fee (which included hotel, lunch and cover for after race party in a VIP section of a nightclub) was $299. The staff dismissed the fee for this year only and now each person is to cover their own expenses.

So the event is free, if you have nothing to do this weekend, why not jump on it? You can do the event, enjoy the party and head home if you want ... but you will miss day two which is indoor kart racing.

I had an absolute blast last year. I seriously think you guys should consider it. I'm driving 4 hours to attend. At least this is much closer for you guys.

Hope to see your PMs so I can give you the meeting location.

The place in just over the border in Indiana. I didn't catch the name. I assume we will caravan over there.

Phreakdout, what time does this even start on Saturday? Cincy is only about 90 minutes from and might be something worth checking out.

Sorry for the late reply. I picked up a virus from My350Z and now I can't check it on my work laptop. What a pain.

Registration starts at 930a at Longworth Hall (700 West Pete Rose Way) You can register on the spot.

Anyone know of a good shop that rolls fenders? I'm in desperate need to have mine done. I was going to get the Eastwood Fender Roller and have my body shop guy do it but if someone has the tool or knows a shop it would make life a bit easier.

How handy are you with tools? If you're going to go through the expense of buying one, just go ahead and get a heat gun and do it yourself. It is not hard, and if you go slow with lots of heat you can most likely keep your paint intact. I did mine with ease, just had a friend with the heat gun and slowly rolled.

I can hold my old on tools. I try to do everything to my car that I possibly can and willing to. I just haven't seen anyone roll their fenders to know the "do's and do nots" specially dealing with paint. Don't want to have to repaint and fix a mistake I could have avoided with experience.

Did you use the Eastwood Fender Roller?

Sorry for late reply. To answer your question, no. I actually fabricated my own fender roller as well, although the eastwood roller was what I used as design so it was very similar in way of functionality. Like I said in the previous post, if you are handy you can definitely do this yourself. Just requires heat and patience. I'm sure just about any body shop would tell you there is a risk of them cracking the paint also. It comes with the territory when bending painted sheet metal. Watch some of the how tos on youtube, there is some good enough examples of what to do (and not to including drive with a pipe between the fender).

I wouldn't think about using a pipe and driving lol Such a ghetto way. My paint is pretty fresh (Couple months old). I had my car completely repainted once i bought it due to the the previous owners loving to part close to others in parking lots so it had little dings and such on it. My painter said he's never rolled fenders so he said he'd look at it before he done anything to them. I'd rather him touch it and it crack he can fix it. I crack it then it's on me to have fixed.
