Hi all. I'm trying to find out about the available caravans going to ZDayZ. My friend and I live in Lexington, KY. I've been studying the driving maps very carefully... If you plan on going to Fontana Village from Cincinnati, it is pretty much a straight shot mostly on I-75 and you'll drive by Lexington. A couple of the Ohio caravans I've seen are going to Louisville and then to Nashville before going to Fontana Village. This is kind of out of the way (as it will tack on 6 hours of driving for us). If there are any caravans taking I-75 to Fontana, would you mind picking up 2 Z owners in Lexington?

 

What day do you plan on leaving?

 

I plan on leaving Thursday because I reserved my room at Fontana for Thursday - Sunday. I notice a lot of caravans in Ohio are leaving Wednesday. I think that's out of the question because from Lexington to Fontana, it's only about a 2-3 hour drive. So I was just wondering if there were any early morning Thursday caravans heading out that way.

 

Why are they going to Lousiville and Nashivlle? Are they meeting up with other caravans?

 

Yeah, that's my understanding. They wanted to meet up with the other caravans from the west. It seems Nashville is the hub were a lot of Z owners will meet. I'm currently talking to Buff (from 350ZMotoring) about it because I hear he's going to ZDayZ. He said he doesn't know the route he's taking as of yet. But as of right now, it's just me and my friend. If we have to, we'll go by ourselves but I kind of wanted to experience the caravan thing.

 

A Michigan group is going down for zdayz on the 17th of May to get some extra driving in and have some Ztime! Let me know if you might join up with us, we also have Terry (ztoyz) with us from Canada. We will have about 6 cars and for sure have room for more!
