Daytona Blue Performance ordered 7/18, left on a trailer from West Coast 12/5, due 12/12 + or -.
Been a long wait! Especially since I saw stories about orders placed after mine already received.
Really want to chrome the rims, looking for ideas/sources. New rims quoted a $471 my cost, hate the down time to ship out the oe's anywhere.

 

Des Moines. No 350Z yet, but next year I have a birthday that ends with a zero, so I'm trying to wrangle a new Z to replace my <60K mile '82 280ZX.

Well as for the Ames Trip, I bailed on it. It was 11pm.. I wasnt up for a 3hr drive. Its not a bad trip at all..some maybe sometime we can get some people together from the area.


I lived in Newton about 20 years ago.. for a very short time..don't remember much of it at all. Sometimes I remember places, and things when Ive driven thru..

 

This region is kinda big. Oh well. SS Track on order, possibly Feb/Mar.

As far as M football goes, we owned Ohio State so I guess a couple losses aren't too bad. I can't say it doesn't hurt. Notre Dame, it was good to renew a classic rivalry. You either love the Irish or hate the Irish. I hate the Irish.

bbray, did you pick up your CS off the showroom floor?

I turned down the dealer's offer to get a SS Track in December. What's the fun in getting a car when there's so much salt around you can't enjoy it without worrying about it being clean. There aren't enough good car washes around my place.

I didn't start the team bashing.

 

chahny, good to see another fellow "Z"er from Ann Arbor! So which dealer did you order the SS from? what interior color?
Have you consider the aftermarket leather upgrade(did your dealer even mention about this upgrade at all?)
I would love to see your Z when it comes in. So far I have seen a Leman Sunset arond downtown Ann Arbor, and there is a performance CS in the Ann Arbor Nissan dealer, about a month ago, there was a SS in the same dealer, it just came off the truck and was getting ready to be prepped for pickup.
