Ya, I'd say if you don't live fairly close, the monthly board meetings aren't the best. It's just an excuse for some of us to talk about things and grab some drinks and food afterwards.

If your far away, save your traveling for the meets in the summer. We all have our Z's in the garage for winter anyways.

Hey I think I was following your car for a bit a few weeks ago. I'm in Nora with a Silverstone Z.

Any of you know any good shops in Indy?

Hey, nice to meet you.
I honestly don't trust any mechanic around indy area. I am a DIY guy and i do all of my install. But im not too familar with ECU stuff =)

Oh, I have a nismo front lip for sale. I tried to sell this while ago but couldn't find a local buyer.
The reason for sale?
Here you go =)
I installed it before i take it to the paint shop.

I do most of my work myself too, but I had to take the Z to a shop for brakes because the rotors were seized on. It's the first time I've taken a car in for brakes ever. Anyways I got it back and I have this weird knocking (popping) noise when I go forward. It's coming from the front. It may have been there before and I just never noticed it cause it is hard to hear. I'm gonna re-torque everything up there this weekend cause they may have over torqued something, but if that's not it I may have to take it to some place to figure it out.

How much for the lip? I'm not really in the market and the lady would kill me, but if the price is right it might be worth it.

What kind of thing you want to do?
nvm- just see your post above me ^^

I know one shop that from what I heard, is a great shop .... but I dont think this shop do 'fast' job .... for brake job, might take few days to a week. So that might be an issue for you.

The brakes are done, just a matter of this front end noise I have. I think I'm just noticing it now since I was listening for things wrong after the brake install.

There are few Z and G that do their brake job at that place also ... so he might have some knowledge about it (my assumption).

Disclaimer: I have no experience with other shop in Indy so can't really say if they would do a better job than other shops in Indy. But that's what I've been told by people who come to his place.

Do you hear that knocking whenever you go over the bumps?
I also have knocking noise but i know it's comming from my sway bar end links.

No, the knocking is when rolling. I also no longer believe it was associated with the brake job I had done. With normal driving habits I would have never heard it.

I must recommend you attend ZDayZ in TN/NC on May 18th/20th. I as well as 4-5 more members will be heading down there. Should have around 300 cars there!!

Very nice. It's funny cause I work around 96th and Meridian and there is another DB 350Z in the parking lot next to mine. I always wave or at least acknowledge another Z owner...so if I see ya, you'll know.
