Lightbulb Fed up by suspension issue - try this (chicago area)!

If your 350Z has the problem described in these threads:

bouncing/porpoising on I-294 (part II)
https://my350z.com/forum/showthread....0&pagenumber=1

Is something wrong with my car or is this normal
https://my350z.com/forum/showthread....0&pagenumber=1

Ride Problem? Call............

Send an email to Jim Mateja, who is the one of the auto editors for the Chicago Tribune. If he receives enough letters complaining about the same problem, he can at least bring it to the attention of the Chicago area Nissan reps. Maybe even publish a summary in his column!!

Email Jim with your name and hometown - jmateja@tribune.com

or mail him a letter:

THANKS!!!

Default porpoising

Good advice and I did leave him an e-mail. I also said I opened a file with Nissan but have not heard back.

Also sent Jim an email. My suspension seems to have softened at 1,750. Easier to get along with now. Tires still suck but no feather

My bouncing suspension also seems less dramatic at 3200 miles than it did at 1200. It's still there, but I think I can live with it since it's only in a few spots and they aren't on my daily path.

Hey sgraham, we're neighbors - I'm also in Bloomingdale.

Hey Redline-I'll look for you around town. Have never seen a red other than in the dealer showroom at Gerald Nissan in Naperville where I bought. I'm right off Lake Street by Glen Ellen road. Another guy here in the condo has a Silver Z. If you need clear bra contact, let me know. I used a guy out of Buffalo Grove who did a great job (not cheap though).

That's funny - a guy on the other side of my apartment community has a Chrome Silver too. Mine is the only red I've seen on the street, and the guy at UltimateZ has the only blue one I've seen. I did see a black Z near here a couple of weeks ago, but I was driving my "beater" at the time so I didn't chase it to say hello. Maybe it was you! I'm off of Gary, really close to the Stratford Square Mall.

Looking forward to spotting you on the road soon, or maybe at one of the meets with the other local guys.

(The clear bra contact would be great - I just got my first paint chips and decided it would be worth looking into. Could you please PM me with the info? Thanks!)
