Redline tuning (www.redlinetuning.com) is looking for a volunteer Z to test fit their hood struts to. They are located in Dexter, MI and produce quicklift hook struts for many different cars. I personally have had their hood struts on my old eclipse and I loved it. They produce quality hood struts for about half the price of the hood strut companies I've seen so this would be a benefit for a lot of us. They are also willing to do group buys for the forums.

If they were a little closer than an hour drive and I wasn't so busy I'd be interested myself. I'm sure you'll get someone interested.

 

I am in Ypsilanti. I would be interested but my hood is carbon fiber (Stillen) and my Z is only under Fire and Theft insurance until March.

Well maybe because if someone did this it would benefit the ENTIRE Z community? That and not many people look in the regional forum. But I see its already been moved so whatever. I for one don't want to spend 120 bucks on tein hood dampers.
