July meet in Iowa?
Yeah, a few from the day it was bought.I kept meaning to take pictures while I was home, and sure enough, the days it was decent to drive, I was too busy driving. I'll post a few up later.

How does the 13th or the 14th sound to you guys? Looks like Im taking a cruise after all. Tentatively, im not coming back here. But it is possible I might fly out and finish up the rest of the month (2 weeks for $4k, worth it i guess). So I'll have a few extra bones so I can quit and not come back.

Holy crap. YES!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!! Much closer, so at least we could drive. No more expensive flights down to Texas. I hope its at least close to as good as the original. Thanks for the info.
As an aside, after this r and r, the next time I come home will be for good. It will be right at my 3 year mark here in A'stan. /sigh
Maybe if the one in KC is an indoor one, like the one in galveston, it wont be too late in the season to give a go.

Well, actually there is an indoor water park with attached hotel across I-435 where they'll be building Schlitterbahn. Great Wolf Lodge

That would be a nice little day trip this time while Im home, but I have this feeling that most of my time is already spoken for. With a week long cruise smack in the middle of it, Im guessing I'll be running around quite a bit trying to squeeze in visits with inlaws. But when Im home in September (for good).. thats another story. =)
It's a huge water park and I guess they have guest accommodations also. Every been to Oceans of Fun in K.C.? I guess the Schlitterbahn they're building here will put it to shame!!
