Default July meet in Iowa?

Iowa peeps. Anyone down for July 13th Fun Night at Cedar Falls Raceway? Looks like I wont be home till around the 6th of July. The wifey of course wants to spend sometime with me, so we're headed down to Schlitterbahn in Texas for four days. But I'll be back the following wednesday, so I was thinking of maybe making a run up to cedar falls to get in some strip time.

If this doesnt work for everyone, are we all still on for a meet in Des Moines? Think we can coordinate it sometime around that time? Unfortunately my job has decided that we should get even less time for vacation and visiting our loved ones back home, so I only have 14 days in the States this time around. I don't expect anyone to work around my schedule, but if theres any thing going on around that time, I'll make every effort to be there. Lets get something going.

Link to Cedar Falls Raceway calendar. Im guessing Friday fun nights are open races where you just go and get as many runs in as possible. Kinda like street racing nights at Houston Raceway Park. Looks cheap to enter, 8 bucks for adults.

Oh, and if you've never been to the Schlitterbahn, look it up, excellent vacation place if you love waterparks like my little family does.

Im down for meeting up. I have only met a few people with Z's here, and they all didn't seem like they wanted to socialize.

Everyone I've talked to so far has seemed down for a meeting. Im just hoping we can do one in July. The crappy thing about working overseas, is when I come home, Im usually booked solid by friends and family who want to spend time with me. Because they are sure that sooner or later, Im going to get my head cut off by some crazy al-qaeda. So the first couple of days are hectic as everyone wants a peice of my time.
This time Im trying to avoid most of that. It seems instead of Texas, we're going to San Diego. To do Disney and the Zoo. Then the rest of my time, Im hiding out at home in Iowa. We're flying out of Chicago, so I can drop my Z off at carmedics to get the N-spec kit put on it. When I get back, should be ready to go, and Im free for whatever. How does the second Saturday sound to everyone?
If not, let me know, believe it or not, Im trying to kinda plan my free time so I can make this meet.

Doh, wish i could make it. Im looking forward to meeting everyone though. Maybe at a BW3's or a hooters, (im not big on hooters) or something first. Would particularly love to get pictures of the Iowa Z's. =)

Anyone know who runs a grey Z in cedar rapids that has a VS wing? Works at some jewelry shop, best I can tell. Also, there's a red one that I parked next to a few times, that I saw at Lindale Mall.

I guess closer to July, I'll have a better idea of when I'll be in from the States, maybe we can organize something then?

Ugh.. Im originally from Texas, and I will admit, im deathly afraid of driving in the snow. We don't get snow in houston. The weather is lately, I almost wouldnt be surprised if there is snow in July.
Hey oclor, nice job on Zaino, Im going to have to do that when I get back I think. I've never even had the chance to fully hand wash my car. Is there a place that you get the Zaino local?

No you have order it from zainostore.com. There actually isn't a single decent place to get anything car related around here. I even had to order my micro-fiber towel online because I couldn't find a decent one here. You should get the zaino total protection show car kit from zaino, it has all you need. I just washed my car today and it looked just like the day I put zaino on it. Amazing stuff.
And WTF is up with the weather? Last week I was wearing shorts and a t-shirt, today when I washed my car I couldn't even dry it because the water actually froze!

BTW my name is Omar.

Brian here, but I think you know that already. Yeah, the wife told me it was pretty cold up there lately. Its 147 in the shade over here, so right about now, I'd be happy to find a comfortable medium. =)
Thanks for the tip. I had some microfiber towels from Wal Mart, but they arent all that great. I failed to see what the fascination in them was.
