looking to get my rims powder coated. anyone know of any good shops around illinois that do powder coating. found a shop and they are trying to rob me! i am in central il, but travel to chicago area often. thanks

 

J & J Powder Coating in Zion, IL. Its quite a distnace north of Chicago, but worth the drive/shipping. I've been very happy with everything they have done for me.

I just found a J & J like 20min from me around bloomington. going to check with them. did you have your rims done? curious how much if you did

 

I haven't had any wheels powder coated (yet) but I have had them powder coat suspension and brake components as well as an intake tube. A friend of mine had his intake manifold, valve cover and strut tower brace done there too. I don't know what their pricing would be on wheels, but they were very fair on the rest of the items.
