June Z car show at Morries Nissan (Minnesota)
I just wanted to thank you guys for showing up! Sorry I was not able to socialize very much since I was at work.
While I'm here I also wanted to reach out to the local 350Z guys for help with the Z car club. As you know we have a lot of members who are a bit older and prefer to sit in restaraunts than go out to driving events....But there's a few of us that would prefer to go out and have a little more fun than normal.
I was thinking of organizing a meet at the gokart track in Cokato MN. I had a buddy that went out there and said Pro-Kart is more expensive, and even if it wasn't they still can't compare.
http://www.stockholmkartingcenter.com/ (I think that's the right place address).
I probably won't chime in too often on this site (as I own an 81 and a 73) but I'd love to see some of you stop by our forum sometime with some ideas.
Our forum is at www.zcarchat.com
Our club website is at www.mnzclub.com (which I have to finish here sometime soon)

Thats why we started the Twin Cities Z Club. TCZC.
Yes, the get together at Morries was a fun deal. I liked seeing the older model Zs to see where the car came from. I love seeing the evolution all the way up to 2007. Lots of nice cars there. I cant wait for the next one.
PS. I am all for just getting together for lunch, beer, BBQ, whatever. Its fun to meet new people. Ya never can have too many friends.
If you didnt know. I had the 07 silver Z. BONE STOCK. LOL

No we don't have a website. We were talking to the Nebraska Z club ZONE and might have them build us one. Dave and I were talking at one of the Zoom meetings last year and thought we would start a new club in the area. We just got tired of how things we going. We would like to do things with the Zoom club as with the Z show. Dave and I kind of run things not like we are in charge. We don't ask for money for dues. All we ask is just come out and have some fun with people that share the love for the Z car. We are having shirts and stuff made up for those that want them, with our new logo.

I hear ya...The only reason we ask for dues with ZOOM is to cover the expenses of being part of the national clubs (which do offer some discounts at places to members) and to cover the added expenses of the club....If a member has a BBQ he/she is reimbursed for their costs.....and sending out the mailers costs me about $20 per month minimum.
If you guys want a forum just let me know, I can create another one at zcarchat.com . That way both clubs can see what is going on and still stay somewhat connected.
I have pics of the event, I have just about every person's car in some way or another...I snuck up onto the roof for some too.
