I've got an 07 Z that I've got to take in for the slave cylinder recall thing. I bought the car from Suburban of Farmington Hills. I'm just wondering if anyone has had to take their Z in for service there and had a good/bad experience they would like to share with me. I'm basically just looking for the best dealership to use for this service thing. I already had a bad experience with Tamaroff and refuse to go back there. By the way, I live in Oak Park if that gives any reference for what area I'm looking in. Perhaps Suburban in the Troy motor mall? Any input/experiences would be helpful. Thanks in advance.
Suburban in the Troy motor mall is TERRIBLE. I had to take them to small claims court after they damaged my rear wheels while doing TSB work to the rear axles (clicking noise). I think I ranted about it in a post on here somewhere...
Dick Scott in Canton has been GREAT for me. They replaced my top under warranty, and I've had an alignment done there.

I have heard nothing but good things about Dick Scott.
Mostly from people without Z's...but other friends with Nissans.
Nice mods by the way!
Jeesh didn't take you long to get the bug

yah, Dick Scott seems to be a name that keeps popping up with a good reputation. I was hoping to not have to drive all the way out to Canton for a good service department, but it's better than having some hack job done on my car. Thank you about the mods too. The suspension isn't all here yet though. I've got the shocks sitting here, but the springs/camber kit are on a ups truck right now. I'm waiting to put it on until after this trip to the dealership though. I would rather not have the dealership attempt to do things with my lowered car. I'm sure that's just asking for trouble.
