The event owner had to over night a turbo from australia for this car, he was a little upset that it was making 300hp less with the smaller 101mm turbo that they sent.

To me when you do the LS1 swap it's no longer a Z anymore, and for the cost of doing a full swap and purchase of a LS1 motor it's basically no different than beefing up the VQ. Granted the LS1 would be more reliable but still to me it lost it's credibility of being called a 350Z. I love the VQ motor and wish to sometime push it to the limits and enjoy every second of it like Aaron has.

On a side note I hope my typing is ok on beer number 6 and still going. Got off work a little early and celebrating lol

Im having problems installing my headers on to my 2003 350z, ive already got the OEM headers off and pulled out but now i just cant fit the new headers into the opening thats there to get these performance ones mounted. The car its sitting up on jack stands on my driveway, im out of idea's im willing to pay $100 cash to who ever can come over here and fit these headers on (If youve done this on your Z). Ive got pretty much all the tools that needed for the job. PM if your interested in making an easy $100, i just wana get this done. I live in Maple Grove, MN. All you would have to do is fit these headers on here and just put together what ever you had to take apart in order to do so. And ill put together everything els that i took apart. Let me know

hey guys...just wanted to throw this out there. We are planning a road trip down to GA and Miami in May 2012. This would include leaving wednesday evening, staying in GA for zdays thurs through Sunday, leaving Sunday for Miami and leaving Miami the following Saturday for home.

So far we have 7 committed from the G's, and haven't posted the finalized plans to the rest of the forums to see if there are others we want to pick up on the way down.

We also have a bunch of FL guys that are putting things together for the week we are there, going to VOSSEN, AUTOKITS, HPLogic is in West Palm Beach for an UPRev, etc.

We also have a hookup on discounted hotels from a G member that lives in FL.

Par...check out our threads. The Wekfest thread shows that we're attending a CHI Z's BBQ that sunday(over 30 peeps confirmed already), and the FL trip thread is in there as well.

Just got back into town. I was in DC for a conference. And yes, there are lots of professionally dressed hotties out there. I even got a chance to go to Georgetown for some pizza and beer.

I'm officially tired. What a day.

Met up with Sportbiketed yesterday to install my cats back onto my car and take the GTM test pipes out.

Now my car sounds even slower...lol

But thanks again man for your help and hospitality. Look forward to seeing you at the events.

Also, ran into another Z driver while on my way to Coon Rapids, not sure if you are on the boards, but I was in the silverstone Z. I didn't mean to lose you, but hopefully will see you around town.
