Well, there is Dave and I who are F1 and Indy fans, but I follow 7 series increidbly closely...Nascar is one of them. Also a Stewart fan, but have dithered a bit on Nascar over years.
Youre welcome Dave anytime!

I am definitely not a 7 series fan (whatever that is, but I'll go with Erik's description). LOL
Went jogging this morning and barely saw a soul out and about. Was kinda nice.

I think all of us have a level of proficiency. For example, I could help you with numerous applications/software; but, the question of "good w/ computers" is a bit broad. If you want someone to swap out a HD or resolder your motherboard, specificity will be the key.
Tried putting SATA on every setting and got past windows setup, asked about secondary storage then went to death screen, other than that I try booting from disc and when it says windows set up BAMM death again HELP PLEASE I'm so sick of looking for the answer
Well I had the laptop broke the screen fixed it yrs later and forgot the password. The hint is no help. Nothing in safe mode, no windows repair option that i can find to try the shift f10 trick,no command prompt, any other options? If it is my hard drive or mem issues how would I go about fixing or diagnosing? I ran diagnosis and it said it was cool. Also how do I reset admin password ive tried to beat the login password but no luck so far

If you are only having a problem with a lost password....have you tried to recover the password with one of the numerous recovery programs out there?

If you are having hardware problems and it is an old laptop (more than 4-5 years old) you may be better off getting a new laptop. Depending on what's wrong with it it may cost more $$$ than just putting that money towards a new one.

I have a working laptop from 2003. LOL
My desktop is almost as old, which is what I use now. I'm still on Windows XP. I think I'll be getting a new PC soon (like this summer).

Might have found something to help with that power issue I'm having... I know a guy that's selling a full 350z engine, I gave him an offer and he seemed alright with it. If I do get it that will be my guinea pig to the world of FI. I'm also throwing in the idea of doing a 3.8L GTM Stroker kit
BTW Buddy of mine is selling his 92 300zx TT if you know anyone that's interested. Just trying to help him out.
