So it was pretty cool to have the legendary Spork show up at my house to wash his newly bought Nismo 370Z.

Next thing I know, Dan and Greg show up in a Z.

I didn't know I was having a Z meet, but I don't mind these impromptu GTG's.

 

Some of my mod money just went to my anniversary date tonight. Holy hell, women are expensive! lol

But.... she's worth it!

 

how did that happen? tapping it for an oil return? road debris?

 

worst.... I dropped it 7-8 years ago and the crack expanded to the point where I was adding oil nearly every time I took it out. could never find the crack up until 2 years ago.. Don't ask.....

 

Hey guys, long time no post...
The Z has come down with a bit of an alement.. i'm pretty sure the oil pump is wearing out/failing.. low pressure at idle, etc..

Done all the fun basic troubleshooting externally.. but it's to the point where i knuckled up and ordered a replacement pump.

This task is a bit past my comfort zone, so i'm trying to decide where to take it for proper diagnosis and repair. I'm pretty much coming back to dealerships in the area.
I like wayzata, as i've seen plenty of GTR work out that direction, but their hours suck.. and i get parts discounts from morrie's if they need anything beyond the oil pump i already ordered, but have no idea on their service history, etc..

I'm going to be calling around today to figure out where it goes in the next 24hrs, but would love some input if you guys have any.

LOL yeah, it was the start of my Bday 3 week vaca...rented day before I left as a present from my aunt for 10 laps, beat the **** outta it...then the superformante obv in Sant'Agata, and 458 in Maranello....pics from Pagani, Lambo and Ferrari to follow...too damn jet lagged and exhausted...and the main camera is at her house, lol.
Taking the TA out in a bit to remind myself how much I love true brute USA muscle, drove Z earlier to remind me how much I hated the fkn mercedes 6 speed I rented in Bologna

I'm planning on going fishing this weekend. My neighbor has a boat and was going to head out to a local lake early in the morning, so I asked if I could go. I love fishing and need to get back into it.

Gotta go get that license and some supplies. I want to set up my poles for the lindy (sp) rig for when I go up north.
