Hey what's up!
I posted something about this in the OHIO thread but I figured ah what the hell I'll just create one for it too. I grew up in Cincinnati for 19 years, graduated from McNick in '05, tried to go to school at NKU (LOL) then joined the Air Force. I'm stationed down here in Destin/Ft. Walton Beach, FL area at Eglin AFB. I'll be back in Cincinnati visiting family and friends for the Holidays from the 20 Dec - 5 Jan. I'll be driving the Z up from Florida here and I was hoping to possibly arrange a lunchtime meet at maybe Gold Star or Skyline or BW3s or somewhere for a small meet/greet for whoever had time and/or just needs something a little different to do over the Holidays. I'd love to see what kind of Z's are running around back HOME where I eventually will return to for good. I'll be staying at my parents' place in Batavia so anywhere in the Greater Cincy area will work for me. Let me know if anyone is interested! Absolutely any time from the 21st of December to the 4th of January. I'm totally cool with even going somewhere downtown or in Newport like Hooters on the river or um... Skyline downtown, any malls that are close to you with restaurants near them? Just name a place and time that works out best for you all and I'll be there. lol!

Awesome! Alright I guess to make it easier I'll try to pick a day here... How about... the 27th or 28th of December. Most people will be off work and few will have many plans with it being after Christmas and before New Years. We could even meet somewhere central and then cruise somewhere for lunch. If you all are down and have the time I think that would be pretty cool to take a 30 minute or so cruise somewhere for food, then disperse from there. This is where you guys have to let me know. I haven't lived in Cincy for 2 1/2 years now so I'm starting to forget where things are. I know my way around but I don't know where **** is! lol! Please throw out some suggestions! I will even consult some friends on meeting places and such if need be. Later!

27th or 28th are cool for me. Maybe meet somewhere then cruse to newport for food, gameworks, etc. I know it would be a pain to try to find each other in the lot so meeting first the driving would be easier. I have a few buddies who would more than likely go.

 

Yeah that's normally how we do it here. We pick a time and place to meet then have a fun little cruise to somewhere everyone will enjoy. A cruise to Newport for a bite to eat and even some Gameworks would be sweet. I think we should do it on Sunday the 28th actually, I think there will be less chaos on the roads and places may not be quite as packed. You all really are going to have to pick the meeting place now because I don't remember any good places to meet up like that. I'm thinking a mall parking lot will work well. So here it is so far. Sunday, December 28th meeting place ??? at ??? time. Then cruise to Newport for food at Hooters then Gameworks. Sounds like a plan to me! Let's get this figured out ASAP so people can plan accordingly if need be and are interested. Thanks!! Later

Sunday the 28th is good for me.

It doesn't matter to me where we meet up. I'm not sure where would be a good centralized meeting place for everyone, I'm from the west side so I don't know to many places over there.

I know if we meet at Hooters in Newport we could park down at the end where the lot is normaly empty. The end closer to the Newport Mall area and the Purple people bridge. Then we won't have to pay parking. My cell is (513)203-6606 if you guys want to give me a call before we meet up.

 

Sounds good. I'm in Las Vegas until the 11th for a "business" trip so I don't have much access to computers. I will get back with you soon. In the meantime I'll try to think of meeting places. Later!!

I might be able to attend, kind of depends on how things work with the family. I have family in both IL and PA I have to visit over the holidays. I will continue to watch this thread though for details, that way if I am free I know where you guys are at. Newport is a great place to meet up, I just hate parking in that garage, the spaces all seem too small

 

I agree 100% about the small spots. Lets just meet in the Hooters lot at the far end by the bridge. It will be easy to find each other and we won't have to pay parking.

I'm trying to think of a good place to meet on the west side that will be central to most of you (seems like you're mostly westsiders). If not we can just meet up at hooters in Newport and save all the *** pain! Lol!! I should be coming home tomorrow. PM me if any of you want my number to call and coordinate more since sometimes forums aren't always the BEST way.
