Aaron have you been able to get to the gym. I've got a Gold's right by my house that is huge and its only $10 a month.

Yes, been going to the gym.... back to a respectable strength, but still WAY too fat. Been trying to run, but the shins are just taking a thrashing.

there is a new gold's that opened up in Woodbury, near my old house. Unfortunately I am not driving 15 minutes each way to work out.

Aaron, have you considered new shoes? If you're getting shin splints, use some tape to control it and get better running shoes.

I drive 10 minutes one way to the gym near me. In the summer time, I do more running and biking around my 'hood but I'll do the weights and stuff at the gym.

I have tried different shoes. Nothing seems to work. Even when I was actually in shape, I couldn't run more than 2 miles a day without some decent pain in my shins. Now that I am even heavier, it just compounds. I think it has to do with the way I run.....err the way I try to run. With my build, it's clear I am not built for endurance or running.

May I suggest pilates?

How about crossfit stuff?

I should do pilates....

I can do the machines. They are just too easy. I think I will start doing the stairmill again. Please don't confuse the mill with the climber

There's a new member on Tech that's going to show up at the Saturday meet. His name is Jay. His ride looks pretty good.

wow so i was just sitting in my living room just now at 9 and realized that this was goin on today..... totally forgot about it... sounds like im not the only one either ... haha well i guess we'll have to do another one soon.. steve normally calls me to meet up for the meets .. i guess thats probably not gonna happen anymore i would of came and spent way too much money with you dave
