I wanted to start a new thread to make sure everyone is informed of the new meeting location. We have been kicked out of the 15mile & Coolidge strip mall so we have moved to Kart 2 Kart in Sterling Heights. Great location with lots of parking, coffee, bathrooms, discounted kart racing, and a business that welcomes the meet. Here are the details:

Description: Monthly car gathering at Kart2Kart in Sterling Heights on the first Saturday of every month. All cars are welcome. Please, no shenanigans.

Time: 8:30am till 11/12ish.

This is killing me. I've missed every single meet due to conflicts with other events. The Jawbreaker Road Rally is the 7th.

What time y'all thinking about getting there tomorrow? Or have ya changed your minds?

I figure I'll try to get there at 9:30-10:30 and start hitting the karts.

Normally it is the 1st Saturday but we had to pull it 1 week earlier because K2K is having their 1o year anniversary next Saturday. Looks like a nice day so hope to see you out there. I will be out there in about 45 minutes.

Oof. I slept through my alarm, radio, and a dog wanting fed... :P

 

Missed it. Worked really late last night and slept in this am. Spending the day getting ready for my trip to Mexico, Costa Rica and Panama.

Finally...looks like spring is not too far away. Hopefully we are not jinxing ourselves by posting this, but we are going to try our first meet of the season on Saturday April 2nd. The meets are at the same place as last year at Kart 2 Kart in Sterling Heights. The meets go from 8:30 to 11:30 and K2K offers discounted races at $12 till noon.

The best way to keep up with the happenings of the meet are on the facebook page. All are welcome and hoping to make this meet even larger than past years. We are going to stay on the same schedule being the first Saturday of every month (possibly moving for 4th of July weekend).
