Hey Guys,

I am looking at an Audi S5 at a dealer in Chicago Il. Could someone with car knowledge go check out the car and test drive it? I don't want to waste my time if it ends up being a POS but seems like a great deal. I would be coming in from NY.

If someone is willing to do this let me know what it will take. Preferabally someone with mechanical knowledge and knows how to look over a car well.

I have actually been to that dealer and drive past it just about every day. I never bought a car from there but I did check one out(it seemed alright when I checked it out). Take it for a drive down Schmale Rd there and listen for unusual noises, check all your switches to make sure everything works(AC/HEAT), and ask for maintenance records. I'm not to familiar with Audi maintenance and costs so maybe check and audi forum.

I used to work in CS off Schmale and Kehoe back in 90-93. Schmale used to loose up every bolt in my suspension.

 

I got all the info on the S5. It was a dealer buy back because of Tranny issues.
