Happy New Years!

Hope everybody had a good christmas and new years!

Our meeting this month is tentatively set for Jan 20th. For the location, we can still have it at Carter's Chinese restaurant, or we can move it somewhere else.

I've received the decals already so that part of the membership kit is set. I hope everybody got or will get a chance to accomplish their tasks (ie. talking to sponsors, website update, etc.)

Hope everybody can make it and let me know if we need to change the date or location.

Well our fearless leader can't make the 20th date, so the meeting may have to be postponed to the 27th, is that ok?

 

^^ Sorry about that Rob! Work has been pretty crazy in the past 6 months. Like Kyle, I will need to travel to China on business. The urgency is to get there before the Chinese New Year holiday. Many of these companies take 3 weeks of shutdown between the 26th of January and 15th of February.

I will probably be in Tokyo on the 26th and fly home on the 27th. So making the meeting looks good. Kyle, we may end up on the same flight back unless you are coming from Nagoya.

What time are the meetings usually held? I would love to drive up there if the weather permits (I'm in Toledo).

Rob, I know you're real busy this week. Can I stop by and pick up a few decals to preassemble kits?

I have Art Singer's phone number for club discounts on Nissan Sport mag. I will give him a call.

Other items to be done before the meeting:
- By laws sent to Lee K.
- Member cards. (Have thicker stock laminate and gloss paper.)
- Transfer ownership of the PayPal account. (Does the meeting restaurant have wireless? LOL. )

 

No wireless but we can tether my phone...
I'll update the site. I have had about 0 time to work on it since the last meeting. May be able to spend a little while sprucing it up tonight though.

I got an account too. I took a look at it and it's VERY easy to use. I can see updating it won't require us beating on Lee all the time. Besides, it looks kind of fun.

I may try to work on a page for the membership app and kit.

Rob, I'm still at work and need to get home for a conference call. I have a road trip tomorrow to beat up a supplier of aluminum turbocharger housings and impellers. I'd like to stop by tomorrow night. I'll give 'ya a call from the road and see if you'll be around.

Nice work guys! We might just have everything ready by the meeting time.

(BTW Rob, you'll laugh at me. My trip to China was cancelled by our Tokyo office. So I could have attended the original date. )

 

I just thought it might be good to spread that around.

I set you guys up as "editors" I'm not sure what all that means... I can make you administrators if you find something you want to do. I only did that 'cause I don't fully know how many admin accounts it's smart to have.

Also want to say that we're hoping to have the membership kits done, which means we should be able to officially start the club! woo-hoo!
