Trust me guys, over the top frustrated. Even looked into MANY options to get the car out and running w/ different wheels such as Mikes stock M45 19's, or Pengs. problem is they won't fit over my sport Akebono calipers.

 

That sucks, Lance. I suppose the earthquake didn't help matters. Why is it so hard to make wheels and ship them? This is the 21st century.

 

Apparently they were out of the front disk size I ordered (R-DISK) so they had to produce more. And then the finish I ordered (WORK BLACK CHROME) is their specialzed custom finish that takes about 2 weeks to do.

 

i ordered a set of volks from japan last year and they were supposed to be in the states in 2 months. after i waited 5 months and they still hadnt left japan i finally cancelled my order and had to pay a 300 dollar re-stocking fee............ tell me that aint b.s. im never ordering any ray's from japan again. i found a mint set of used ones for a lot cheaper and they were the exact ones i ordered.... i love ray's wheels but i dont think ill ever buy new. its not worth it when most of the people who have them take awesome care of them and are practically in new condition.

 

Why did you get rid of your stock wheels before you received your new ones? Just seems like a poor choice, especially when the wheels are coming from Japan.

 

because a 4 month wait seemed like nothing during the winter months when i have the car stored anyways bud.

Well well well its looks like g's are starting to fall and z's are still adding to the list.... Whut up now lance??

My guess is 15-20 cars show and most of them will be Z's

 

if i can find some CHEAP 20MM spacers or free ones i can borrow I WILL be there WITH my car. Mike has his m45 19's which i found out i need 20mm spacers to clear my Akebonos

Do any of the 370 guys have aftermarket wheels w/ their stockers sittin around?????

 

say my buddy Fino (the one that has a G37 that's coming) has been looking at getting some aftermarket wheels before the meet, if he gets them maybe he'll be able to loan them to ya

 

Is his 37 a sport w/ the akebono's??
