Mazda Rev It Up
Just got my email notification for this year's event (April 17-18). Will the Chicago crew be getting together again this year? I'd vote for Saturday early afternoon. Last year I went in the morning and didn't have time to do all the practice courses before the race.
What do you think?

I'm in. Saturday works for me. I don't understand how getting there later will give you more time on the practice courses.
I went about noon on Sunday last year, and had plenty of time.
BTW.......it's a BLAST!

Bruce...you're killing me... I didn't mean get there later. I meant sign up for a later driving time. Still arrive early so you have plenty of time to do all the skill courses before you race!
I signed up for group 16 which starts at noon.

All right! That's 3--where is everyone else?
Bruce--MidOhio may be a problem for me. I think I'm getting ready to build a villa (garage space for 3!) and I'm not sure I can spare the extra money right now. I'll know more by next week and keep you informed!

Mid-Ohio can't be more than a couple hours away from you.....at least come down for 1 day.
Dax, I'll need your presence, as Joyia is DA M N fast!
That's what I've heard, Bruce. Right after she took delivery of her Z, she did a track day at Putnam with my buddy Ryan (he drives a 'vette). He said he was having trouble keeping up with her... and I doubt she was even past her 1200 mile breakin period at the time.
Joyia, I look forward to finally putting a face & name (& Z) together!
See y'all there...

Awe....you are making a girl blush! And you're adding pressure. LOL I'm not so sure about the fast part. It's more like I've never had an 'agricultural' experience so I have no fear...yet.
MidOhio is about 3 hours from me. The cost of the school isn't bad. It's all the other stuff I'd need first...sways, tires, hotel. As soon as I see the price option list for the villa, I'll know if I can swing the school. A jetted bathtub takes priority over sways--I am still a girl you know!
Dax--I was past the breakin period-I swear! It will be nice to meet you as well.

Rain should be over by noon, and group 16 doesn't start killing cones until 2:00... we should be fine. Think positive!
See y'all at Arlington tomorrow! I should be easy to find... just look for the guy in the 350Z.

Not really sure what all the #'s mean, BUT, Joyia WON!!!!!
She was the 3rd fastest female at location, 11th nationally!!!
Congratulations!!!
But, I kicked her butt on age rank for location though!!!!!!

Talked to my brother who ran on Sunday, and he said the tires on the "Timed" runs were different than the practice tires. Falken Azenis for the practice runs, but Kumho Victoracers for the timed runs........is my bro full off sh*t?
Whatever, let's see some more rankings.
