I have a small ding at the top edge of my driver's side fender where the side flare meets the concave shape of the fender, and a small scuff and light crease just under the Z logo on the same side.

Question 1: Does anyone in the greater Detroit area have a preferred body shop that they would trust their prized vehicle to for work like this, or

Question 2: Do you think it might be cheaper to simply buy a new fender, and have it painted?

I had my Nismo wing painted and installed at Emery Collision in westland. They do killer work, and Tony one of the big guys over there used to be a Nissan paint tech. People can vouch for the great work they did, I've gotten a lot of compliments on how well the paint matches and how nice it looks.

Or, a cheaper way may be to have it bumped out. This guy Don has a paintless ding repair shop in plymouth on main st. The is really really good, and only charges $60 for the first ding and less for each after if its on the same pannel. If your paint is not messed up I would say take it there and he will be able to make it look like new. It's north of Ann Arbor Rd on Main St in plymouth right there by Dick Scott dodge.
