Looking for anyone going to the May 14th cape cod meet from RI. Maybe we could organize a caravan? Or meet up with the Connecticut one?

 

The CT caravan will go through RI. We will be getting on Route 195 just south of Providence. Let me know if you aware aware of a rest stop in the area where we can stop to meet up with you.

I was thinking about getting with the CT guys and seeing if they would add a stop at the rest area on I-195 just past the CARDI'S exit for people from RI and surrounding MA area. Will figure out more about it when it gets a little closer to the meet date. Let me know if you are able to go and interested in meeting up.

 

I was given the following information from another member:

There is a rest stop on 195E (heading toward the Cape) between exits 20 and 21, close to Wareham. It's about 5 miles before you deadend into 495/25 and go south to the Cape. That would probably be a good place for SE Mass people to meet up with Vic's caravan coming from Connecticut.

As far as the caravan coming from Connecticut, the shortest and easiest route would be to take 95 into Providence, take 195E out of Providence through Fall River and New Bedford, pick up anyone waiting at the aforementioned Wareham rest stop on 195E and head south on 495/25 to the Cape. Here is yet another map (RED = suggested route)!

Let me know if you would like us to stop at this rest stop.

We will be leaving Exit 82 in CT around 8:15 AM so I'm not sure how long it will take us to get to that stop. If you have an idea, please let me know. Also, once we get closer to the meet date we can PM each other our cell numbers and I can call you when we are on our way and when we are getting close so that you know when to expect us.
