It was metal alright! Went to the house for the triboro bridge etc. at the tolls and they took a report. the sargent said.."hey are ya sure it wasn't ice?"..so I said "come take a look." He did and said "nope...no ice...debris."and that's what he wrote on his report. There are 2 straight lines indented in the hood and one was long enough to take out the headlight. looked like a U bracket of some sort. They took pixs and so did I. I sent my estimates in to the authority to the tune of $4600 which includes 4 days of car rental, repair, replace, and reshoot the paint to match. So now in the meantime...we need a new transmission too. Grinding into 3rd over 4000rpms. Also won't downshift into 3rd. If it wasn't for bad luck, we wouldn't have any at all. Ok so we drove home in the snowstorm from AC. Did a 180 on sunrise hwy with Mendy driving. made it home no problems . Ice, Ice, Ice.The girl can drive!

 

Hey guys, I was hoping to get the pics back sooner myself. Oh well, sometimes you can't help it when you're at the mercy of others. captj3, sorry to hear about your unfortunate incident. And to think, I was just driving over that bridge a week ago going to a friends BD party. Scary to even think something like that would come down from the bridge. Glad to hear Mendy is ok and it wasn't any worse. Looking forward to meeting up with everyone again soon.

how did you do at AC i was there thursday and friday at harrahs went with 3000 at one point i had 6000 i was winning like mad when i first got there .

i went home the next day with 50 dollars it hurts just to talk abought it. but i did have fun
