Thumbs down Westbury Nissan Service Center

Ok guys looking for opinions here, personally I bought my Z from them but have had nothing but absolutely horrible experiences with their service department. I have taken my car there 3 times now for the same break job and it still squeeks. I stood there for 3 hours this saturday while their techs stood around in the back and jerked each other off while 20 cars sit on the racks with nothing happening to them. This place is simply the worst service center ever stay away if you want your car done right.
Any other opinions...??

I had some problems with them but I went to the manager and everythign got worked out! Sometimes you have to go higher up the food chain and go further then talking to the incompetant people that sit at the desk when you first walk in. After talking to the manager the service was like night and day.

hey thats performance motorsports dealership rite? i had an axle replaced there.. however they couldnt hear the door rattle that could wake the dead or make my tranny grind 1-2 shift

*edit*
i was told to come back when the door falls off or when i blow the tranny they did however overlook my intake and plenum

The intake and plenum have nothing do your axle so they weren't doing anything special for you or as you put it overlooking what mods you had. There are laws in place to protect you against that stuff.

Did they offer to take a ride with you in the car for the door rattle issue or was it just a quick way to blow you off.

Yes that is performance motor sports. They are in the same building.

Why do we have to get managers involved to get something fixed. It should be plain and simple. If something is broke or not right during the warrantee period, fix the dam thing and be over with it. There would be alot more happy campers out there not to mention the best PR that they couldn't buy.

I would say that is a AWSOME bbb report considering how much volume a dealer does.

Not so awesome if you consider the other dealers in the area have no complaints.

I usually talk to spencer nussbaum, service manager, and have never had a problem. Knock on wood. Had my brakes and tranny replaced by them also.

Often times brakes squeek and there is nothing wrong with them... I think you are being **** retentive on getting the "brake job" fixed. My stock brakes used to squeek and they were in fine condition. My Hawk HPS squeek until warm... I think its quite normal (50/50 on squeeking v. non-squeeking) for brakes to squeek at least half the time?

I can't speak for their service, but if I knew you wanted your perfectly fine brakes fixed for the third timebecause they squeek sometimes, I would take forever to fix it too...
