my friend is rolling with the supra crew and they are meeting up else where also and then meeting up at the fireplace afterwards... for some reason im expcting there to be around 200 cars...

 

Oh wow so they are going there as well? Hehe what is it like all the car crews decided to pick this day as a big car meet hehe. Hmm I don't know about 200 but considering that there are already 3 groups supposedly meeting at the fireplace it should be a big group, or even a free car show if you will hehe.

That lot only hold 150 rides (when empty), definitely gonna attract some popo and **** off the the manager when cash paying peeps can't get into the place.

Hope it don't turn out to be a dawg and pony show.

 

So which parking lot is the big meet going to happen in? Didn't they have a problem at the same parking lot the last time that they had a meet? If so then wouldn't it be kinda be dumb to hold it there again? But I don't know, hopefully we can get things clarified about this.

New York City, Westchester and LI stand up, who is from the Bronx, Queens, Manhattan (yea right) or Westchester and LI? We should all meet somewhere like then go into Jersey or meet right over the bridge in Fort Lee and then go up 17 meet up with the Jersey guys over at the meet. Another thing, the meet is scheduled for 4 PM, what time are we going to meet up if we roll together? Every forum is say meet meet meet and no designated time. Lets get this thing going, its going down this weekend thats only a few days away.

OK ALL!!!

Here's an update. We will be meeting at the IKEA parking lot in paramus. If you guys want to mapquest it, the adress is 100 IKEA dr. Paramus NJ.

Once we meet there, we will park, chill, chit chat, take pictures and wait for others to arrive. at around 4:45-5:00 we will roll out to the subaru guys. The fireplace parking lot only holds around 100 cars MAX. But the subaru guys are using the adjacent lot which should be able to hold all of us.

So far, we have over 50 confirmed members showing. This will deff be a huge meet!

and NA350Z If you want I will be rolling out of the Bronx with the G-Squad. Let me know if you want to roll with us into Jersey to IKEA.

Ya i'm gonna head out there as well, but i'm going to be coming from my NJ place and gonna meet up with a friend and head over there as well. Wow 50 members confirmed, did I miss em or something hehe. It's all good. But ya that itenerary seems correct. But ship that other lot that is shown in the pic doesn't seem too close to the fireplace lot. Hey maybe we can all even meet on the GSP or meet somewhere before heading to Ikea so we can all roll in there together.

i only say around 200 cause its not only 3 car clubs coming... there are th Z & g'z, supras, sti's, if sti's are coming probbaly evos also, i know there are some people over at the s2k site that are grouping up to come on out. i think someone else also said that there were listings on the acura sites and what not... sooo to me definitely over 100 but not sure how far over.. just hoping not over 200 cause there just isnt many parking lots that can contain all those cars.

 

I think we're expecting around 300 cars...

reason is subaru club itself has about 150 cars. Plus our 50. plus rx-7/8 club, plus supra, plus evo and v-boards, club 240. It's going to be held in 2 lots. We should be able to fit.

 

2 lots? what are the 2 lots? i think we should just take over one of the BIG lots at gardenstate... i mean the dont they have autox for teh corvette guys over there? they should let us hold a meet 2.

 

One of the lots is the fireplace, and then the second lot is held by lord and taylor. Both lots seem pretty huge, but i just hope that the gap between them is too far that it seems like a seperated group instead of having a really nice car meet. Damn this is pretty amazing that we are all having this big car meet, there is definately going to be alot of people.

how far is this from westchester?

 

depends which way you take. 30-45 min give or take.

 

the friggin Z owners better show up this time unlike the other meet that was a little further south.. jezuz I ended up driving down with sti's to the meet. i was also 1 of only 2 z's that showed up to an over 100 car meet. im even getting my gf to drive her Z with me so that we can have more z's out there and she never drives her car to meets. if u guys fail me again ill be very upset.

 

Don't worry bhk, I got some Z's rolling with me and I'm sure the other guys will most likely come. As for weather they said possible snow, but it should be like in the amount of little spots here and there, shouldn't be anything of concern, unless we get kicked in the **** with another blizzard from no where. Then if that happens who knows maybe we can turn it into a snow DRFT event haha.

haha awesome snow drift event, the last meet i went to the parking lot was under an inch of ice so a few of us were practicing our drifts. i think the evos were just drifting cause they know they cant do it on a regular basis.
