Hey guys.. I'll be up Friday night also. My GF booked us in a water front room or something she said.

I still have to work on Friday and i'm sure traffic is gonna be brutal after work since i'll be leaving my house around 630 but I should be there between 8-9 depending on how bad the traffic is. Looking forward to seeing everybody!

The meet goes on rain or shine.. There are 30 hotel rooms booked and people coming from as far away as NC and Ontario, Canada.. Some have already made the journey and are already here.. If it rains we might have smaller numbers but there will be a group there.. It just means more food for everyone..

 

Why is it that so far this summer, everywhere I go with this convertible the weather stinks... damnit... I need to take it down to FL again..

I actually went out and bought two pop-up canopies that I can put up over my car in case of rain. Total covered area is 20'x10'. If it is a light rain, I'll still make the trip, but I grew up living on the coast, and I know rain can become VERY windswept near the ocean. If that looks like the case, I'm gonna bail and head to the Massdriven Spring Rally which is 15 minutes from my home. Hope this isn't the case, and I hope to see you all there. i do urge the event organizers to get some pop-up canopies to put up for food, etc.
