This an opportunity that you don't want to miss, as meeting Vinny Ten is an experience in itself. His achievements in the professional racing circuit will amaze you; especially when you discover that he built those engines himself. Did you also know that Vinny Ten never put "windows" in any of his blocks in his entire racing career, which spans over a decade? I couldn't believe it, as before my path crossed with Vinny, I truly thought that blowing holes in the block came with the territory, that it happens and it’s normal in racing.

A Q&A with Vinny is priceless, as it is not usual that he gives up his time to share his knowledge and experience. Vinny’s 2005 stage-one VQ35DE accelerated to 212.16mph in just 6.644-sec; in a quarter mile in nothing short of amazingly awesome.

Hey I just got back from the meet. Good times and nice cars. Thanks to Performance Motorsport for hosting the event, thanks to Vinny for being the man, and thanks to Nick for his insight.

Another funny thing that happened today - To the guy with the White Z who dyno'd right before I did (sorry I'm horrible with names). The more I think about it, the more I'm sure that your Z is my old Z. The mileage is right, and the mods are the same as I turned it in with, I think. That should be a Fujitsubu exhaust, with a nice new Y pipe, but stock cats. You should also have a set of Topspeed headers on there. Also I traded it in with a nismo shift ****, so that's the clincher if it came with that (but I guess the dealer could have changed that). Take a look under the car, I think you'll find that I'm right! Anyway that was a great car, if it in fact was mine, and good luck with it. What's funny is that I always felt that white car was faster than my new blue one, and we put very similar numbers down today.

Kwan I will check that out. That was my car, dyno'd 247 hp and 221 ft lbs. For further confirmation before I actually walk outside to check the engine out and stuff, did you do anything else to it? ie. on the front bumper, change out the orange reflectors? Also, what kind of tires did you have on it?

And again, where did you trade it in to? Also, check your old records and give me the VIN number.
