Reasons behind that rulling:
1. Traffic stops are the single most dangerous thing a cops does on a regular basis (more cops die from traffic stop than another other reasons)
2. People getting out of their cars presents a dangerous situation
3. Cops having to turn around and walk back to their car presents a dangerous situation since the violators knows he's getting a ticket
Your screwed with a ticket on the SI Expressway. My wife got one in the Z the cop claimed 85 in a 55 she was next to a tan van. The cop wrote tan on the ticket she was lucky to keep her licence with a lawyer and $800 for both crooks. Keep in mind my car is LeMans Sunset it was daylight and the car was clean. That cop is a SOB lier. Good luck I hope you win.
