hey all, i just moved to nyc from la a couple weeks ago...waiting for my z to arrive via freight but in the meantime imthinking that it would be use to install a navi ssytem; its down to either the avic d2 or the avic z1...obiovusly the d2 is a LOT cheaper but the z1 has some more features...more on that later

does anyone have any recommendations for places to have it installed either in the city or maybe the bronx? (my school is in the bronx and i live in the school housing) i would really appreciate any help

back to the d2 vs z1 tho, i am not going to watch movies in my car really ever; no passenger of mine either (its kinda like the rule where shotgun can't pass...thus no movie watching...) the most important aspect is the navigation function of the unit (sound is watevers to me) i would REALLY want to be able to use the navi unit while in motion, IE at a stop light or in traffic etc etc; if anyone has any good/bad experiences with either taht woudl be great too! thanks
