If I promise to move to spotswood can you give me a job

She still has to apply, I don't doubt she will get in to these places, but in reality we have to settle somewhere that I can get a job and she can go to school.

Other possibilities are in D.C., Baltimore area, or around New York(Rutgers/Hofstra)

Well like MRC said, East Brunswick, Spotswood, Monroe, Jamesburg are all nice places to live. You can rent a small 1 bedroom condo in East Brunswick for $1000. I don't know what type of job you are looking for but the NY Times is in Edison that might a place to look for a job writing. If you have any other question PM me.

just looked, yes it's Camden

Anywhere surrounding Camden, that isn't Camden itself, is pretty nice. The campus is super easy to get to off of 676, its designed for all the innocent college kids to go to without getting mugged or shot on a daily basis. Anywhere within a 20 mile radius of Camden can get you there or into Philadelphia fairly easily and there's a lot of nice areas with inexpensive housing.

lol....look man...I own a building...you need a place to live holla at me...Jersey city/Bayonne area...and I have a safe place for your car....you think I would leave my wide body Z on the streets?....Crazy

I might have a vacancy in February...the Rent is negotiable, but your income would support both of you...

Hofstra is ridiculously expensive....my brother went there and it was 10k+ a semester...

Also, isn't Morristown a nice place to move into?

Hey mrpratt, take a look at Hillside, Union Kenilworth if you are thinking the Newark area. I agree that Newark as a whole is not too nice. The only decent area is the Iron Bound section. I live in Hillside and have for 12 years. Nice town, has it's moments. fairly inexpensive to live and a quick ride to Rutgers Law (My sister goes there). Also Union and Kenilworth are nice. Although, Kenilworth is a little more expensive BUT a much nicer town then all of them.
Just my
Good luck with what ever you choose......

spotswood, old bridge, woodbridge, edison all nice places to live in central NJ. Going south is usually cheaper.
