My OEM rear tires wore out in about 13.5k miles. I replaced all four tires with BF Goodrich KDW-2's and I've gotten about 23k miles out of them and hopefully have another 3-5k miles to go on them. All four KDW-2's ended up being about $200 more than just the two rear OEM tires. I've also auto-x'd on them and track'd on them and so far so good. I'm very impressed by the longevity.

sry110, believe me dude, you will not be disappointed, Bruce did an engine transplant with a 6.0 CAdillac escalade motor into a camaro and it worked out great, he lowered my old car and my dad's truck, he does nothing but the best, you'll have to let me know how it works out and I definitely wanna see how it looks lowered with those wheels!

ahh springs around the corner and i still havent found the "perfect" set of used rims...

since i last posted about peeps in the northeast not having rims for sale theres still been little to no local action on the classifieds...

although i admit i'm being a bit picky.... its like i have this image in my head of the style of rim i want and its hard to come across not just the right one but in the price range im working with.

ahh well... i'll just keep scowering the forums night and day! lol

the weathers been so crappy in the poconos i've only gotten one good day to drive the z around.. of course i brought it home filthy since the roads are disgusting with melted snow and dirt everywhere

Dude, I'm in your SAME EXACT BOAT, I'm trying to find a nice set of used 19's, but everything is either overpriced, scratched up, or not my style, maybe we are just too picky!

flame me all you want but living in the pocono with all the crappy roads spending 3000 to 4000 for a set of volks or works, etc is just not in my future.

they are bound to get a little messed up from daily driving around here.

so i'm going to continue to look for something 19" used with tires in the 1300 to 1500 range.

probably end up with something the Axis, Racing Hart etc. category.

just got a set of 19's by ruff racing not much lighter than stock 18's but got a good deal for 19's with 275/245 set up on 9.5 x 8.5 under 1900. love them to death best choice ive made in a while. stock 18's turn into winter rim and tire and you are good to go.

These are my 19in staggered Tenzo GF7's. I bought them for a little under 2 grand with tires and am very satisfied with them so far. I use my stock 17's in the winter and these in the spring, summer, and most of the fall.

nice! did you buy them new or used for under 2k?

I feel the more and more i look at wheels online and in the classifieds (which is probably like 3 hours a day! haha) I think i NEED, not want lol , some black rims with a polished lip on my chrome silver Z.
I cant get over how sharp it looks, and in fact i used to hate black rims.. now.. cant get enough of them!

I ordered tires from www.tiredeals4less.com, they advertise up top and I got 4 Toyo T1R's from them, (255/35ZR19 front and 275/35ZR19 rear) and they pretty much beat anyone's price by like $200, and they had awesome customer service .
