Unfortunately, now a week before the meet, the Park Rangers are giving us a hard time. We had clearance on two other meets and now since its close to beach season, the Rangers want us to apply for a permit, we had no problem with that, but then the Rangers told us it would take longer then a week. So Unfortunately we have to HOLD OFF on the meet. We definetely dont wanna do this, but we dont want any to drive down and then get sent back home. If we find a new "Approved" lot within the week, we will let everyone know and put the meet back on.

 

im so down for this. i live like 20 minutes away from sandy hook

We would like to keep this a mainly Subaru event, yes an evo or 2 is fine, but we don’t need everyone and there uncles yugo there.

Sorry about that. They posted it on a non-specific car forum and just wanted to say that the main cars that would be there would be subies/evo's. This non-specific car forum tends to bring in a lot of what you guys would call "rice." So they wanted to limit that. I will edit the first post so nobody else mis-reads it. They are extending their invite to us the 350z community as well, sorry for that mis-read.

For right now they are looking to keep it subies/evo's/Z's. Only because the lot has limited capacity.

yea ill diff. be there...this might be a stupid question..but how are the roads around sandy hook......dont want to loose a front bumper on the way...ahahahaha

 

The roads are fine. Bumps here and there, but normal bumps. I think if you take the pkwy/rt36 to Sandy Hook you should be fine. I drive my Z all the time around Sandy Hook/area and no problems. Granted my car is not lowered nor has a front lip.
