Yeah, I'd say that recommendation is given on personal bias more than anything since you said the guy running Philly Dyno Works is a "good buddy." Many people in the Philadelphia area have nothing but good things to say about Car V2.

He also does Dyno days and group rates.
If anyone has any questions feel free to ask.

Thumbs up

Car v2 is Delaware is ****ty.
If you want to say something positive about your shop, that's fine. However, that was a douche move.

Car V2 is excellent, and they run a really clean shop. If you're wondering, they have a Dynamometer.

"Very knowledgable about Z's"
Never heard of them on here or any other z board, never heard of them from any other Z owner, they dont have any reputation around here (philly suburbs) and I didnt see one picture of a Z on thier website! Judging by the cars on thier website it looks like your typical philly ricer hang out.

Hey's talking about phillydynoworks.

Car V2 is very reputable......Let's say their owners each own Z's and Skylines.

Thanks for the back everyone.

Car V2 has been turning wrenches on Z's and G's since they first became available. Although we have become VQ experts, our focus is Japanese performance. Those who know us understand that we pride ourselves in the products and services we deliver.

We use Dynapack dynomometers. They are the best in the industry. Anyone who understands the difference between loadbased (variable load, ie. dynapack/DTS) and fixed resistance (barrel type, ie. dynojet/mustang), understand the much greater accuracy in tuning that can be accomplished with the dynapacks.

We are very busy this time of year and dyno appointments are usually made 2-4 weeks in advance. So please plan accordingly if you need dyno time.

Respectfully,

Car V2

Exit 9 off the Turnpike is MRC.

They have experience with Z's since they first came out and also support the forums. Give them a shot.

Why isnt their dyno any good? Not trying to put you on the spot but could you be more specific?

I don't think further comment is necessary. Everyone on this board knows the shop's sterling reputation.

Thanks for "clarifying."

Why? I always thought Dynapacks were considered one of the best made.

React3, you have no way of knowing this, but several of the people in this thread (including myself) know the OP. He's a smart guy who would not be swayed by your bad-mouthing. If anything, you have done a terrible disservice to your "buddy's" shop.
