Meh, I'm out. There's obviously no interest in going from the people on this board. It's a shame. Last years event was great and everyone talked like they would be back again this year. I guess that's just not the case.

I'd say cancel it....not worth the time/effort/money.

You can't just go out and make an assumption about the enthusiasts on this forum. It could be that there are 2-3 other import events within the area that same day and people could have plans for those events.

Well, last time I checked this was the only thing going on that particular day. The thread has been going for a few weeks now. Unfortunately only 11 people signed up, so what other assumption can be made?

It's not a knock against the board. People just don't seem interested. Sorry I call it like I see it.

Something else to think about...last year there were many Z owners who were not on any of the forums. News about the event spread by word of mouth and through the local Z Clubs. I think there will be a decent turnout this year.

Carlisle, PA has a large event that weekend, as does Old Bridge Raceway Park, NJ (NHRA Spring Nationals/D1 Drift). I could probably find 2-3 smaller events in the tri-state area the same weekend.

Food will be similar to last year FREE!!!
We will have RIBS...so get excited cause I am.
Also I will have raffle prizes...and a goodie bag for all Z/G owners!!!

There are alot of factors that go into planning a meet...I am sure Cathy and Pat understand.

All i can do is ask for people to come...(and hope it doesn't rain)!!!
I am not worried about the turn out...LAst year was a good Turnout

I am having the meet because I PERSONALLY am a Z enthusiast...
Just so happens that I work at a Dealership...

I appreciate all the good things said about last years meet...and my hope is that this year will be just as good or even better then last.

SO>>>>>>>>WHO IS GOING TO WIN THESE BEAUTIFULL Z TROPHIES!!!!

If I have the only black Z that shows up, do I automatically win the little black Z trophy?

If the list doesn't grow by the time you get here...there will be a 36% chance for anyone that shows to get a trophy...but i am sure the list will grow

Ah yup, I definitely understand all that goes into putting on a meet or a show. So, I appreciate everything you're doing to make this another nice meet for everyone. I'm sure the turnout will be as good or better than last year.

And hey, where is the Chrome Silver in that trophy lineup????
