Definitely prefer the MRC event -- LI is out of the way in terms of driving. I don't want a 5 hr drive home.

LI is the total wrong direction. Unless you are going to stay close to the NYC side, then you are going WAY out of your way. At a point it would make sense to take the ferry across LI from Port Jeff or soemthing, but then that cost somewhere between $50 and $75, and you still have to drive MORE after that. That is the only reason I opt against the LI cruise.

 

For all the people going to this, we should get a section of parking lot for all Z and Gs. Shouldn't be too hard. Just meet up with one or a few Z/G and park at either end of a row and just let people know whats going on. That lot is huge, so it shouldn't be too hard or much of a problem.

Not sure what forecast you are looking at. I am showing 84 and 87 on Sat/Sun respectively, with a 10% chance (ie, not happening) of rain.

If anyone wants to attend BOTH events, there is the Best Western of East Brunswick right near our shop and about 10 mins from the track...

 

I am, and a couple (if not all) of the Team 350Gs will be at both events.

Julian, that is the hotel we are staying at. They have a few rooms left they told me, $109 for a single king size bed, $126 for double kings. Those prices accurate as of Friday afternoon.

 

i will decide if i am going to the MCR Meet before July 5th =0) LI seems tempting but like you said kinda out of our way, but the way i look at it is, that if i do end up going over there to chill early in the morning, i can juts hope on the ferry to bridgeport,ct for 46.50 and save 1hr+ and gas, awww decisions decisions
