Well, it was great to meet everyone today. We had 8 350Z owners show up.

We shared some great ideas and we at least have a baseline to start with. We pretty much decided it will be at the end of July, most likely on a Saturday. We should have all the final details ironed out by the end of this month.

Please keep in touch. Nothing is officially etched in stone so if you come up with any new ideas in the next few weeks please PM me.

Thanks again for showing up today. We have a great group of Z owners in CT and together with the great group of owners in surrounding states we hopefully will be able to get a strong showing at our formal meet.

Ok, here's a little more info. on what we are planning.

Tentative Meet Date: Saturday, July 12th

Start Time: 9:00 AM (Meet location to be determined)

From 9:00 AM - 11:00 AM (Meet everyone, prizes, raffle, etc.)

11:00 AM (Brunch - Either at the location we will be meeting at or short drive to restaurant that can accomodate LOTS of cars, hopefully)

12:30 PM -1:00 PM (Leave restaurant and head towards Lime Rock Park). Along the way, stop for a photo shoot.
Continue cruise to Lime Rock (the cruise itself will be awesome as wherever we start from will be about an hour away through beautiful scenic roads)

3:00 PM Arrive at Lime Rock Park for Ferrari Racing Day event
Park all the Z's in one location and enjoy seeing Ferrari's from all era's either in display or racing.
Admission to the park is $20.00.

Victor, you're faster than one hour photo! It was a fun day and I had a great time meeting everyone. I see you got the info on the Ferrari day. Let's see what kind of response we get. I'll PM you with some ideas.

 

Frankie, your help up north is greatly appreciated. Once we've finalized all the details I will do a flyer and post it so that people can print it and pass it out.

 

Sounds like a great plan. Might come up form NJ. Went to HS in W. Hartford and still have family and friends up there. Haven't been to Lime Rock in 30 years or so. Just saw a documentary about it on public TV. I think its only 3.5 hours from SJ and Philly.

 

That would be great. Hopefully ZGirl can put together a meet in Central New Jersey in June so that we can all go there.

We are working hard on our July 12th meet. We should have more details in the next two weeks. We are also inviting G35 owners which should make for a strong meet. Keep checking in.

 

I put a thread in at 350zfrenzy.com, I'm headed for 350zmotoring next if you haven't already gotten there. I think we should post on the General forums, it's more likely to get seen there than any regional forum I think.
