Default Monster East Coast Run

I am a member of a New York club - TSZ33. We are looking to organize an east coast cruise. We want to do this before the weather becomes a factor. If there are clubs on the East Coast (ie CT, NJ, PA, DC, MD, Delaware, Rhode Island, and Massachusetts etc) that are interested pm me and we can start making plans. I would like to have the event within the next month. That should give us enough time to coordinate. I am thinking of an organized event with group leaders & walkie-talkies. In any large caravan communication is very important. We could go through the mountains stopping for food & pics. If you are serious pm me.

First tentative date is September 23. I am already in the planning stages with my club. This could be the biggest east coast event of the year!!!! Lets work on this. I will need most of all assistance in route planning. All you guys in VT, pa, Delaware etc let me know of any routes that might be useful. THANKS!!!!!

The trip isn't that bad. This is what I was thinking, if you can take 2 days off from work, a Friday and a Monday its possible, but a looooooooong weekend. Gather Thursday night and prepare for the trek Friday. Friday morning wake up at 5AM leave by 6AM. Arrive in Knoxville by 4PM. Settle down for the night and maybe hit the bar. Saturday and Sunday are left for driving and sight seeing. Sunday night return to the hotel then prepare for the trek back home Monday. Repeat Fridays adventure in reverse and arrive home before dinner time. Return to work on Tuesday. The weekend is soooo possible, its just getting the urge to go.

I'm really interested but am not in a Z/G/Nissan club (don't know of any specific ones here, even though I'm sure there are). Going to subscribe and try my best to tag along, when and if something definitely pans out. I'm crossing my fingers that something does!

Mtn Run III didn't include Bear Mtn. It went through MA and VT up to Stratton.
