wouldn't a good stealership just be called a "dealership"?

Any experiences with garden city nissan?? I got a test drive appointment sat morning with them. If negotiations work out they said they'll order me an 08 san marano z and I'd get it next month with there new shipments.. I dunno tho. That's the normal dealership scams ya know. As long as I get my price they can do w.e.

Why wouldn't it be better to buy a 350 in the winter?? No one buys them now. Wouldn't they be trying to offer more to push them out now??

Yea that's what I thought. Not many people will be buying Z's in the winter time.
Never heard of anything about Garden City Nissan but goodluck.

garden city nissan is a tru stealership FTL. I would never ever go there or buy a damn thing there. sometimes they are even iffy at the parts counter. I live around the corner from there and would go to another nissan 3 towns over to buy ANYTHING from there

I have visited practically every stealership in NYC, including Long Island. I got my car from Legend Nissan in Syosset. 2006, 5k miles used, Touring, $27k otd. And got a fantastic trade in on my 2001 Maxima SE, 77k miles - $10k + $1k for mods.

I almost bought a 2003 Touring from Biener. They were good guys to deal with, but ultimately I found something extremely better and got a better trade-in appraisal. If you're going to buy a new car, go to Legend, imo. Biener is nice, but go to a guy named Glenn in Legend Nissan. He doesn't B.S. around. He WANTED me as a customer and that's what matters the most.

Habberstad is also a nice dealership to check out. Good peeps there.

Places to not visit:

Star Nissan (the worst by faaaaaaaar)
Nissan of Queens (Rip offs - $25k for 03Z with 55k miles? LOL!)
Nemet (Liars)
Koeppel (Liars)
Garden City (Awful, inexperienced, uneducated, liars)
Smithtown (Con artists)
Kings Nissan (Liars, they just try to get you in and BS you around)

Go to Atlantic Nissan in West Islip, ask for Romaine. He's a great guy, and had a Z.

I dunno.. I was told at garden city nissan that they'd buy out my civic. When they appraise it the difference would go on my Z. Which is what I said I wanted. So thats coming from me. And for the total I wouldn't pay over 27,000 for an 08 base coupe.

I mean.. So far everything I said I wanted. They agreed too. Sure I probly could get better numbers. But nothin is official. I gave my max for everything and they complied with everything n said it won't exceed what I won't pay. Maybe I got lucky?? Or it's not over yet?? I'm waiting on my credit report to make sure the bank gives the loan then I get the car.... I'm willing to take a hit for the civic. But for 27,000 the max I'd pay total for a brand new Z. I'm really not complaining.

Nissan 112 for me - walked in on a Saturday morning in '03, within 20 mins had a deal in hand for the car I wanted, they located it for me and I had it a couple weeks later. I've bought more cars than I can count and it was among the easiest purchases ever.

That's how It felt for me. The guy was cool. Mid 20's. Lives bout 10 blocks away from me it turns out lol. I told him exactly what I'm willing to pay. What I'm not. Told him exactly what I wanted. He agreed to everything and said I won't go over those numbers. So thats a plus. Maybe I just got a good dealer and its working out. He was cool tho. We bsed. Talked bout the car I got now. Comparing it to the car I want. We even talked about the GT-R. Went smooth. Never had a trip to the dealership go so well. I guess setting up appointments with people helps? I'll see how it ends up as the week goes tho.
