So the test pipes are on, I ended up going wth Turbo XS they looked in really good shape they were only on the guys car for 3 days. After driving around with them all i can say is its a love/hate thing. I'm not one for riceyness an the mid RPMS deffintly have that sound but the bottom end sounds like a very deep Nismo exhaust while the top end sounds kinda high speed crouch rockety. It feels like it might have balanced out my Tq an Hp are bit, i havent really got to late into it alot yet to see but top end it pulls alot better then it did before. Hopefully its dry out on the way down to D&B tomorrow so i can play abit with the stop lights an see how it is bottom end wise. Anyway that pretty much finishs off the Exhaust an intake. Strup Headers,Turbo XS Test pipes an Nismo cat back is the final product. It deffintly needs a tune cause it was running pig rich at the shop when we were letting it warm up we had to open the garage door cause it smelled like gas soo bad.

 

O yeah Philly if you get on here tonight post a map of the parking lot so we can meet there unless its not that confusing.

i have the SAME problem with my test pipes...sounds great low...turns into a ricey whine....then heaven....and i can't stand behind my car before my eyes water from the gas in the air....where should i go to get a reflash???

Since reflashes are soo much i'd wait too see what comes out or do your own tuning like Jeff with a Piggy Back. There's only one company that does reflashes right now which is technosquare or something like that. Cobb's programmer that there making sounds pretty nuts its gonna have like 1 to 4 stages on the device it self an each stage will be a different combo of mods. Like 1 will just be a reflash an 2 will be like exhaust an intake an etc, so i'd wait to see if that comes out cause i'm sure they'll have a full exhaust an stuff mode. I'm like a pulley away from all the easy bolt-ons, so i'm really in the need for something.

 

is there some place near lancaster that tunes z's??? the kid i bought my car from said thats all they do...flash/dyno/tune work

 

Flashing the ECU an Tuning it is 2 totalyl different things, you can flash your ECU your self if your quick enough just look it up on the forums. Its not really gonna do much. I'm not aware of anyone local that does the reflash tunes on the stock ECU's if so i'd really be interested. I know places that tune them with piggy back systems that are local but he's also insanely expensive.

 

Where are we gonna meet? I took the liberty to pull this from Google Maps and figure someone else can decide where were gonna meet.

 

I do recall someone saying they wanted to have a central meeting place...And I also took the liberty to post this also...
