Earball works for me, no need to get Bill Nye to test this data

+1 I was driving and looking for a helicopter when I realized it was my tires and a bad section of roadway.

It's not that bad, guys. Might as well start whining about test pipes too.

My 17" winter tires Bridgestone Blizzak LM-22 are kind of loud, they make a "whirring" sound when I get around 60 mph. My 19" summer tires Toyo T1-R aren't too loud if I remember correctly.

I had Toyo T1-S on my lm-gt4's. The ride was quiet, good grip in dry weather, and they were amazing in wet weather! The sidewalls felt a little soft, but overall performance great. I went through 2 sets. I think Toyo has since replaced the T1-S with the T1-R.

I have BFG KDW2's on my stock wheels and Michellin PS2's on my Volks. I dont really notice any difference between the 2 let alone any noise at all. No matter what tires you have, they are all going to make noise, there is no way to avoid it. I dont pay attention to the noises my tires make because I dont really care, its just part of driving. I usually have the radio on anyway so i cant even hear them. Unless you are purposely listening for tire noise, which imo is dumb, your not going to hear anything. If you have a problem with road noise make your car sound proof or something.
That is all
