Default Track question

Whats up guys. I'm just dying to get my car on the track. Theres really only so much you can do on the street (safely anyways). But I don't know of ANY tracks within driving distance. I'm about 45 min west of State College....Anyone know of a place? Also...is there any shows or anything coming close to my area? It gets rough living in BFE

sup man...i know that area well. the best place if you want to learn is Beaverun raceway in Beaver Falls over by Pittsburgh. there is also Nelson's Ledges in just over the PA line in OH. Nelsons has a bad surface but is a fun track. Beaverun is an awsome track and they are actually in the process of expanding it. They also have a skid pad and pro go-kart track. www.beaverun.com

if your intrested, im planning on going out to beaverun June 7th for their low key auto-x. its a good time and way better then most auto-x as in you dont have to work and you just run non-stop...the event organizer is a Z owner as well.

Yeah I've run both of those tracks and they are a blast. Beaver I haven't run in years, but I remember it being a more challenging track than Nelson. And I remember Nelson's bad surface, ugh.

Thanx guys...I'll definately check those out. I was hoping there was a place closer to me though. I mean Both places would be a 2-3 hour drive just to get there....which is a pain in the ***. But I will definately get out to one of them at least once this summer.

ya Beaverun is much more challenging but thats because its designed as a driving school track...it will allow you to feel almost every type of chassis load.
