What an AWESOME turn out guys! I really wish I could have made it there this morning to donate a few sets of caliper stickers to the raffles and been there to meet everyone. I got to meet a few members while they were by there cars during the races at Lime Rock. And I have to say, all of the cars, from stock to totally done out, looked great.

I've got an awesome DVD music video that a member did of the meet. All the burnouts on this DVD. It's an awesome video that's about 1/2 hour long. I've asked this person permission to make copies to send to everyone that attended the meet. If I get his blessing I will look into making copies and let everyone know as I will need all of your home addresses. You will love the video. I'll be in touch.

 

Wow Vic that sounds awesome. I also have about a 30-40 min digital video from the meet, I havn't got around to editing it. It also includes me almost hitting 160 on the digital speedo before letting off for a turn on an empty few miles of hwy on the way back from the meet and video of the "Exit 44" group racing around the highway on the way to Lime rock.

 

LISTEN guys if ANY of you can send me something (VIDEO) i would greatly apprec. it i would love to watch that i HAD SUCH A GREAT TIME!!!

please let me know i would be glad to pay you for anything you need to send me a copy!!

P.S. im gonna let everyone in on a little secret today, i was at an acura dealership and one of the guys gave me the ANTENNA to a MDX its a little stubby thing it fits our CARS ALMOST PERFECTLY!!!

Eric, I sent the DVD video out to one of our members who will work on making copies. I will let you know if there is any cost. I have no idea what's involved in copying one DVD to another.

The member that did the video is trying to compress it so that it can be downloaded but the quality won't be the same and he won't be able to add the still photo music piece he added to it.

I'll keep you posted on the video copies we are working on.

Mike, if you do edit a video I'd love to get a copy. Let me know if you can send me one and I'll PM you my home address.

Eric, I think that would be cool. The hardest part of a meet is finding a good location that can accomodate all the cars. If you know a place let me know. Also, you would need to give about a one month advance notice so that people can make necessary arrangements.

If you talking around the Jersey shore (Seaside Heights, Point Pleasant area, etc.) that would be sweet. For us central CT folks that's about a 3 hour drive but the Jersey shore is awesome and worth the trip. Plus, I'd love to hook up with NY and Northern NJ caravans.

What I recommend is that you start a poll asking if anyone would be interested in a meet in NJ and put down the location you are thinking about and let's see what kind of response you get. Also, put in your poll an approximate time frame for this meet.

I'd be willing to spread the word up here and see if I can organize a caravan down there. Of course, a Saturday would be best in case people want to stay overnight somewhere down there.
