Areas to stay away from in philly (some were mentioned): SW, W, E, and N.

South philly is good for eats, but lacks on parking, which is a big bummer, unless we all get take out and meet in a big parking lot (lol).

North East philly is good for parking and not getting your car jacked and also good for eats (depending on what everyone wants).

Other than those two areas of philly I'd not recommend going, especially 20+ cars, we are just asking for someone car to get jacked/broken into/etc...

Kelly drive is a great idea, but only later on in the evening or way early in the morning, its heavily used and more than likely will be crowded for "spirited driving"

Our best bet will probably be a big meet at a parking lot with food nearby (walking distance), preferably in a mall parking lot of something...

South philly has Champs/Longhorn (ikea parking lot, del ave)
North East philly has many choices, Franklin mills (Dave and busters), Roosevelt (88's), and if we really wana have fun, we can go to Neshameny (sp?) they have some nice spots there with a lot of eats around.

Tho.......a possible meeting place could be the King of Prussia Mall! That has plenty of parking until everyone arrives. After that we could follow one of the Philly guys to a hot spot!

Novesh....thoughts?

KOP is a little out of the way and the 76 is a *****. And you dont want to ask everyone to pay to take the turnpike b/c its easier. I think a meet at the Ikea parking lot would be ok. Drive down by Lincoln Field and the Phills stadiums.

KOP is pretty cool, but 40 mins out of the way. I mean we can take 76west from philly...but on a friday evening? doubtful.

I haven't checked the schedules, but will, to see if there are any games going on that evening...there is a big parking lot we can all go and show, no worries, no traffic, no nothing...easy to get to also, but again gata see if any games going on. otherwise IKEA might be our best bet, food near by, and easily accessible to everyone.

I'm down.

KOP would be a nice place to meet (and on my way ) but I think it's kinda out of other people's way. I vote for the Ikea parking lot to meet... easy to get to and nice open area!

I have been talking with some of the NY crew. The feedback I'm getting is that Saturday Aug 2, would be better. The suggestions are as follows:

(1) Leave Saturday morning between 8-10am(2)*Reach Philly by noon
(3) Have lunch
(4) Do sightseeing till 3-4pm
(5) Find a spot to rest (maybe take a few z's-pun intended)till 5:30pm
(6) Cruise with the Philly guys

Some guys have mentioned getting a hotel for Saturday night. Again feedback rules.

Let's get this together so the people who want to go can make the time. I think this can be an awesome show of NY Z power!! It will be nice to compare in person what's happening in each others car scenes!!

Original idea was to cruise with a bunch of Tristate Z's to Philly Friday afternoon Aug 01, meet up with Philly Z crews ...... hang ....eat ..tour the Philly Z scene...ride home early Saturday morning (no overnite stay). We can always go back to that if the masses rule. Maybe once we decide we can get a list going.
