McDonalds, Exit 53 on I95 or Madison McDonalds is my suggestion for the New Haven and south CT guys (good amount of us). Right on the route and extremely easy to find and park.

hmm.. i was thinking Milford and then taking the Merritt up to meet peeps in Rocky Hill at the second location.
Dont really wanna take 95 all the way up.. takes longer.

I want to go to this meet SO bad. It is a 3 hour trip from Manhattan, though. I'd still be 100% down if I could meet up with a caravan from here or close by to cruise down with.

 

you should be coming down 95 so I'd meet up with you in the groton area I'm right off 95 and I think blackfairlady will be joining me for the ride up And if you come early then we can all grab a coffe before we head out and this will give you some down time too

 

I would like to go to this meet as well. I was hoping to go to the Hartford meet this Sunday but the body shop hasn't even started working on my car. I'm going to try to push them to have it ready for next week so that I can make this meet.

Hey.. there are a ton of us caravaning frmo fairfield county. I could wait for you in greenwich or something and we can meet the rest of the crew in milford and groton on our way up to RI. LMK via PM.

 

LOL if you want to go that way, have a ball. I am north of Milford so I'd have to meet you along that route. No way I am going 20 miles north and then driving it all south again. Warwick is right off I95.

I don't understand the reasoning behind going up to Middletown and then back down again. It is about 20 miles to Rt 9 from 95/Merrit in New Haven, then its another 20 to go back south...when you could just go 20 miles on I95...basically just running one side of the triangle vs. two. I am not sure how often you Fairfield guys are up here, but after you cross the Q-Bridge, it isn't bad as they have been doing construction and widening it -- three lanes now all the way to Branford.

I recommended meeting at the Branford McDs or Madison McDs just because they are right along I-95 and you cannot miss them. If we are caravaning we will be waiting a few minutes anyway, so whats another 10-15 mins driving instead of the mileage? Just my thoughts, but you let me know.

 

I really hope you can make it Vic. Kick the body shop's ***.

BTW, why are you in the body shop?

 

What about the commuter lot that is just *before* Mystic (I think it is before, right?). Then we could all meet up there and roll together the last 30-40 mins.
