The Turbo Z was my daily driver, and not a bad one at that...you wont hit any real boost until 3800-4000 rpms, so it isnt a handfull to drive.
I'd be more worried about reliability, upkeep, etc. Not to mention the fact that I would need to send my ECU out for a couple weeks, so I'd be walking to work for a while (the Z is my only car).
Also the fact that I just spent my $3k on new wheels pretty much puts me out of the running haha
Its pretty simple really, first thing when installing the kit is to take out your ECU and ship it off to technosquare in Cali. They reflash your ECU and in my case have the ability to flash it back to stock spec.
Yea well im wondering this because if you used the reflash already wouldnt the person buying this kit have to pay for another one?
this kit is basically spoken for...i already have a deposit, im just waiting on some parts from turbonetics to come in before i can officially call this kit "sold"
Yup…there is a charge associated with the reflashing of the ECU, I’m not sure how much this cost but to reflash mine back to stock it was $150.
but what he is saying is if you bought the kit new you got the ecu flash included in that price and as long as you sent your ecu back that was flashed they take the flash off for you free of charge and a boost flash from techno is bout 500 i believe. do you not have the upgraded bearing housing i didnt see any water lines?

Yea, I just didn't like that he said it was included because if the person who buys it wants it they are going to have to pay 600. They are better off buying their own EMS like UTEC. Still a good deal though..
