theres a link somewhere up top with pics from a couple of big meets we had

 

yesterday was just me and Brad with the srt-6 crossfire... we both knew noone was coming... well, with the weather getting worse and colder we got to think about holding up on it until next spring... but i guarantee, that next year will be great...

 

It was because of the rain

 

yea i figured that no one was going to show up. i was thinking about holding off the meets until next spring too because there is really no point in having them when no one is going to want to bring out their cars in this crappy weather. but we'll see how the weather is over the next couple of weeks. i say we stop them at the end of october, beginning of november when the weather really starts getting bad.

 

i agree with you.... im still going to go next week... and just see how it keeps going...

I'm going! My dad's shop is in edison and I work there so I can go! I hope everyone goes!

 

Last night was great... We all met at the same spot, we hanged out there, we raided the halloween store, and then we had our first cruise together... We went to the grease trucks at Rutgers... I have to say i enjoyed the driving alot... lol... and Joe, your car sounds sick... Hope we can keep doing things like that...

 

Thanks man! It sounds NOTHING like a Z anymore IMO. My brother describes the sound as 'turbo'...I imagine it is quite loud from outside the car...I get a taste of it going under bridges.

 

Cool you guys went to the grease trucks.

 

it does still have the z rumble, but with a whinding of the turbo... great sound... lol...
yeah, the grease trucks were good, even though now they are the non-grease trucks... lol
we have to get another ride together sometime soon...

 

You didn't get harassed by the Rutgers PD? They usually have a cop or two in that lot late at night.

 

no, noone bothered us... besides we weren't doing anything bad anyway... i did see some guys looking at our cars while we ate though...

 

Speak for yourself, I stomped it in first about 75 yards from that bus to spin the tires and blow of. Tires spun, didn't get over 20 mph, blew off and saw the fear in everyone's eyes. mwahaha

Well maybe if you come out to a meet...you WILL get to see it! Maybe even get a ride

 

I either forget about the meet or just burnt from the weekend by the time the meet comes around.

But I actually had an excuse this time, I was out of town for the weekend. I was hauling *** back home Sunday night in a rental car, didn't get home til about 8ish.

 

does it get really dark there around 7ish? if it does maybe you guys should have it earlier, (that way i can come too this weekend and maybe we can go to grease trucks cuz ive been craving it all week

 

Remember how they used to say that each cigarette takes off 15 minutes of your life?

My theory is that each grease truck takes off 1 day of your life.

Living 10 minutes from Rutgers and going there for my undergrad must have taken atleast a year off my life by now.

But yeah maybe making the meet earlier might be a good idea.
